Action Transport, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lane Furniture Industries, the world's largest producer of upholstered motion furniture. Action Transport, Inc. is domiciled in Tupelo, Mississippi. In 1972, we began as a Private Carrier for Lane Furniture Industries specializing in transporting furniture with 1 truck. As Lane Furniture expanded, Action Transport had to add equipment to meet their growth. In 1993 Action Transport obtained Contract Carraige authority and became a separate company running 125 trucks. Today we are operating 150 trucks in the United States and Canada hauling general commodities specializing in JIT Programs. From its beginning Action Transport contributes its success to honesty, sound management, good people, and absolutely the most courteous, dedicated drivers in the industry.
