Coastal Transport, Inc

Coastal Transport was purchased by Comcar Industries in 1986. Headquartered in
Savannah, Georgia, Coastal is the flatbed carrier of Comcar. During the fourth
quarter of 1997, Coastal acquired its 500th tuck, making it one of the largest
privately-held flatbed carriers in the nation.
Growth has come steadily to Coastal Transport, including a merger of the Coastal,
Kennedy Trucking, and Specialized Transport divisions into the single operating
company today. In fact, Coastal has tripled in size since joining the Comcar family,
with most of the growth in the last six years.
