Atlas De Cargo was founded in 1991 and today employs 180 in its offices in Nepal & India. The first overseas branch has also been started in Hamburg, Germany. The company is operating as an NVOCC as “Atlas Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd” and “Atlas Express” is their logistics division in India. The company got its start in its specialty of carpet and garment handling but today also services merchandise, bulk cargo, and sensitive material, maintaining its own fleet of 40 trucks to haul cargo from Calcutta & and other Indian ports to Nepal and India cities. A member of FIATA and various national associations and being licensed customs brokers, Atlas De Cargo offers customs clearance at all Indo-Nepal borders/ICD at various cities in India + all major ports in India, , insurance consultancy, break bulk consignment handling, stevedoring, and container stuffing, de-stuffing, and haulage for import and export consignment.
