seacos headquarter is situated in the north of Germany, close to the Danish border and near the coast of the Baltic Sea. In the year 1984 seacosstarted the development of the onboard computer system MACS3.
The software development was first based on the IACS regulations for "Loading Instruments" with calculations for stability and strength. The software has now well advanced from the prescribed calculations on to resolving specific on onboard problems and demands.
Since seacos was founded, more than 3000 vessels have been equipped with the ship computer system MACS3 and a corresponding number of office systems have been installed at shipping companies worldwide. For this the systems have been fitted for the several demands of onboard- and office-use |
