Cedar Island Canoes

fter several years of restoring wood canvas canoes, I applied for and received a Federal grant to teach boat building to teenagers on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. With the help of Northwoods Canoe Co. owner, Rollin Thurlow, the wooden canoe building program was a success. When the grant program ended, I formed Cedar Island Canoes and have built canoes for paddling and sailing for families from Nova Scotia to Florida to California. I look forward to building a wood and canvas canoe for you and your family."
