Edmund Nuttall Ltd is a long established major British international construction company. It became a member of HBG, Hollandsche Beton Groep nv, one of Europe’s largest construction groups, in 1978.

The company’s expertise covers all types of maritime structures and coastal engineering, roads, bridges, railways, airports, tunnels, public health, dams, pipelines, industrial and commercial buildings. Nuttall has the unique capability of being able to combine with other HBG companies to provide its clients with in-depth international expertise in both large and small scale projects and financial engineering. The company employs 2,112 people, of which 25% are either qualified engineers or surveyors and 650 are managerial and technical staff.

Turnover in 2001 - £380m (overseas £50.6m); 2000 -£303m (overseas £42.4m); 1999 - £280m (overseas £18.3m).
