The Salvage Association, founded in London in 1856, has served the marine insurance industry for almost 150 years. Operating from a network of offices located in strategic locations worldwide, the team of over 50 staff surveyors comprises marine engineers, master mariners and naval architects, each having a wider industry background.

With over 700 years of surveying experience, The Salvage Association's surveyors can provide expertise with experience to Hull and Machinery and P&I underwriters, cargo damage surveys, offshore projects, warranty provisions, ISM and related ship and office auditing.
