Based on the Menai Strait, Plas Menai is one of the largest watersports centres in Britain. In addition to dinghy, keelboat, powerboat and windsurfing courses the centre offers a wide range of practical and theory based cruising programmes year round.
The offshore fleet includes Sunfast 37, Starlight 35 and Fulmar 33, and our extensive cruising grounds include Anglesey, North Wales, Isle of Man, Southern Scotland, and Ireland.
Our programmes include all RYA practical courses, and theory which includes, sea survival [in our own pool], radar, diesel, VHF/SRC, first aid and the shorebased theory courses.
All training is provided in a relaxed friendly environment, with superb facilities and equipment.
