Top Lock Training is situated at the junction of the Macclesfield & Peak Forest Canals adjacent to the Marple flight of locks; it is an integral part of the Marine business we set up in 1976. We are one of the larger providers of the inland waterways course, specialising in the two-day course which is particularly suited to first time buyers of narrowboats. We have also developed our own training course to prepare candidates for the MCA Boatmaster Licence.
