Based in the Solent, Mendez Marine was founded by Jon Mendez, who until 2005, was the chief power and motorboat instructor at the RYA, with the specific objective of providing high quality tuition as well as other boating services such as boat charter on both motor cruisers and RIBS (rigid inflatable boats). As a fully recognised RYA Training Centre, Mendez Marine offers RYA training courses, be it on water or shore based.
