Established in September 2000, Hull Trains is one of the newest rail operators in the UK.



There are only a few open-access rail operators in the UK and Hull Trains is the newest of the group. Most rail services are operated to specifications set down by the Strategic Rail Authority.



Established in 2000 to offer a direct service between Hull and London, the success of Hull Trains has been in predicting demand.



The company carries over 400,000 passengers each year and six direct services from London and Hull run daily, Monday to Friday, with five each way on a Saturday and four on a Sunday. The fastest weekday schedule between Hull and London is 2 hours and 33 minutes.
