Midland Mainline

Midland Mainline became a part of the National Express Group when British Rail was privatised in April 1996. Originally, Midland Mainline was granted an 8-year franchise, but this has been extended twice and currently lasts until 2008.

Apart from operating train services between Sheffield, the East Midlands and London St. Pancras, it also operates the stations at Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Leicester, Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough, as well as the Travel Centres at Nottingham and London St. Pancras stations.
