HeavyLift have been tested in Australian Defence Department charters carrying up to 26 tonnes of cargo on the 1,100nm route between Townsville and Honiara and flew more than 400 hours of missions supporting the police action in the Solomon Islands.
The aircraft have provided both specialist carrying and a regular weekly service to the Solomon Islands, transporting general cargo to the island and flying back up to 20 tonnes of tuna fish for the lucrative Japanese seafood business.
