Novo Express International was founded in 1988 by Charles F. Seymour, previously vice president for both Air Express Int’l. and Pandair on the west coast of North America. The company has grown from three to 24 employees, including a trucking division and three US locations with a fourth to open. Novo has been involved with high tech business and logistics distribution due to the San Francisco office’s proximity to Silicon Valley. In 1995 Novo introduced its domestic airfreight product to complement the air and ocean import and export services. The company is a fully licensed IATA and FMC forwarder as well as an independent NVOCC. Customs brokerage is provided by an affiliate branch, and Novo also handles charter and project work. Servicing the western half of the US allows exceptional port facilities in Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as major gateways to the Pacific.
