This conference will closely review the current state of BRT, both in the UK and worldwide, looking at what current techniques and technologies offer. Practical illustrations will cover a number of existing schemes, showing how they serve high-density corridors, assist with regeneration and coax people out of their cars. There will also be the opportunity to hear about a number of BRT schemes currently in the planning stage, and how new technologies and innovations can challenge perceptions of what the bus can achieve, both in an urban and regional context. |
