The word AIRO in Greek means "elevate, lift, rise". It is the name that our company - TIGIEFFE Srl - has chosen for the aerial-platforms that we manufacture. "Lifting" is embedded in the history of TIGIEFFE.
TIGIEFFE was founded in 1980 in partnership with PIMESPO, a company dealing in the production of specialised lift trucks (today the company is called FIAT OM PIMESPO CARRELLI ELEVATORI and is owned by the LINDE group). During this period they also collaborated with LINDE GUELDNER ITALIANA as a retailer of lift trucks.
The association with Pimespo and Linde strengthened the already rooted culture of quality and safety at Tigieffe. A culture that combined with the business of lifting, guided TIGIEFFE to the manufacturing of self-propelled aerial platforms and to the development of the AIRO trademark as the product name.
Today the extensive range of platforms produced - there are 30 different models - the quality of the product and the services offered have affirmed and consolidated TIGIEFFE and the AIRO trademark in the European market.
