Truck-View eliminates the blind-spots to the side of commercial vehicles.
The system replaces the standard class 2 mirrors with servo controlled units. These can adjust the field of view anywhere up to 90 degrees from the straight position to completely eliminate blind-spots to the side of a truck. This adjustment range allows the driver to see objects in the mirror right out to the point where they are also visible by direct sight through the side windows. To achieve this field of view change, the entire mirror assembly rotates, making them very different from conventional mirrors with fixed shells.
On articulated vehicles, a tractor mounted sensor automatically tracks the trailer on the inside of the turn.
'I didn't see him' is no longer an excuse.
