(Ocean BIO CHEM GROUP*) was founded in 1973 in the U.S.A. around a single product, STAR BRITE™ auto polish. This polish received remarkable success and thus developed a greatly expanded line of products to maintain the appearance of vehicles.
Despite its early success, the compagny realized it could not compete directly with the giant automotive suppliers and began shifting their product line focus into the wide open boat care and appearance market. In the mid-80's, STAR BRITE became thye U.S. leader in marine care products.
