The Fire Service College is acknowledged as a world leader in fire and occupational safety and health training. We are accredited by the Marine Coastguard Agency to run Basic and Advanced Firefighting courses, which comply with the STCW 95 Code of Practice. In addition we run Command and Control courses for senior ships officers. We can also deliver turnkey packages of training to a 'one-off' bespoke program for a specific need. In our extensive grounds we have the means to simulate virtually any type of ship fire from an accommodation fire to full scale incidents. Courses range from emergency response fire team training to the management of major incidents. Alternatively we can deliver our services at the client's location. Our instructors are all experienced in modern teaching methods and are qualified NVQ assessors. To ensure standards are maintained, we are certified to ISO 9001 Standard and every course we present undergoes rigorous validation.
