In its 80-year history, Trealmont has evolved from specializing in Forest Products to providing logistic advice and support on all commodities. The Company covers the full range of logistics services, from small parcel bookings, time chartered ship management to inland movements for some of Canada's largest companies.

Our brokering and logistics group has operated as a separate entity within Montship Inc. (Montreal Shipping Inc.) until 1996, at which time we established a newly incorporated wholly owned subsidiary, Trealmont Chartering Inc. to reflect our increasing focus on third party logistics. In the year 2000, Trealmont continued its expansion by opening in the United States, where the Company now operates an office as Trealmont Logistics (USA) Inc.

The Trealmont team has a current staff of some 20 professionals to provide consulting services, supply chain engineering and logistics support to a broad range of clients, primarily in the resource sectors. Through the combined offices and transport sections, we manage or consult on approximately USD 100 million in Ocean Freight. In the container sector, we manage over 30,000 teu per annum.
