Our campsite is situated at Hindsholm, in the north-eastern part of Funen, 10 km. from Kerteminde. Our next-door neighbours are the beach and the forest, and 5 km. from here is the Hverringe estate, which owns the campsite.
Manor Environment:
Hverringe estate owns much of the land around Bøgebjerg, and the area is strongly influenced by the manor environment. For instance, in the nearby villages Måle and Viby, you can experience perfect Danish village idyll, which leads your thoughts back to the 19th century. Here are a vast number of buildings, which are worthy of preservation and only very few of the houses in the villages can be dated later than year 1900.
