The name "Cheesewright" has been established in the caravan trade since 1952 when his farther Arthur Cheesewright bought a jeep to move a mobile café on to Mawgan Porth nr Newquay Cornwall.
For the summer period he was then asked by caravan sites and private owners to transport their caravans`.
In 1956 Arthur Cheesewright then bought and started Trewhiddle holiday Est. at St, Austell from a run down manor with empty fields to a thriving business with much help from his son Keith and wife Pat.

The beginning of Keith Cheesewright caravans’ ltd

A few years later in 1973 Keith decided to start his own business in his own name and from nothing, now a huge concern within the caravan world in Cornwall, Keith Cheesewright caravans’ ltd was born.
Keith owes all this to shear hard work and a small loan from his local bank & not forgetting total support from his mother Pat.
Keith Cheesewright caravans’ ltd now has the vast experience needed of over 30 years of transporting, buying and selling of all sizes of mobile homes & static caravans` throughout the UK & parts of Europe.
He now has onsite workshop facilities and a strong team, to ensure all repairs & preparation work is undertaken prior to the caravan being transported, this can include repairs to the chasses, jacklegs, and a-frames etc.
Caravans can then be delivered for export and the home market by his own specialized transporters, so to eliminate any problems that may arise in transport.

Keith the founder and owner of Keith Cheesewright caravans’ ltd, still plays a very large part in the problem solving & of the day to day running of the company, this still also includes all manual work, driving the various purpose built vehicles, pre planning and not forgetting providing a no nonsense approach to any new job he takes on.
