Northern Defence Industries Ltd (NDI) is a non-political strategic alliance of 100 companies based in the Northern Region capitalising on the Region's position as an engineering centre of excellence in the marine industry, leading in new technology, R&D and manufacturing improvement.
NDI harness the collective capabilities, skills and knowledge of the members who are collaborating to compete in global defence and marine markets and provide OEMs with effective project management from concept to complete life cycle support for projects in a wide range of sectors. NDI assists members to develop and grow their businesses providing promotional support, customer contact, technology transfer, training, and access to finance and facilitation.
NDI has three Sector Groupings for Aerospace, Electronics and Systems and the Marine industry, both naval and commercial. The Marine Group (NDiMG) is the largest group which is involved and encouraged to invest in newly forming Supply Chain projects with OEMs. |
