Alwoplast S.A. is a german managed, chilean based company which has earned the respect of both the local and international yachting fraternity.
Our objective is to produce the very finest custom-built catamarans from 35-80 ft that deliver exceptional performance, robust durability, lower maintenance and superior standards of finish and fit-outs. To achieve this, it takes careful attention to details, a thorough knowledge of a variety of construction methods and materials, a close working relationship with the designer and suppliers and a strong team of people with abundant enthusiasm and pride in the final product. Alwoplast S.A. is proud of mantaining the best organisation and facilities available and provides a truly international standard of production, utilizing an in-house computer-based design, project management and quality control system. We work without any sub-contractors and have in our employ thirty skilled craftsmen. Five engineers ensure the highest quality standards of professionalism, cooperation and integrity throughout all aspects of construction. They form a close-knit and hard working group who take great pride in their work and justificably so, as past projects have highlighted. We are members of the American Boat and Yacht Council Inc., and adhere to all their standards. Alwoplast S.A. is not in competition with the production builders. We are "one-off builders" catering to either the individual who is willing to invest in one of mankind's last grand commissions: the private and truly customized yacht, or to the discriminating entrepreneur, looking for a cost effective, high performance commercial vessel. We are ready to listen to our clients as we recognise that only by fully understanding our client's needs and the aspiration of the designer, can ultimate satisfaction be achieved. We are located in one of the world's toughest environments and challenging sailing areas for the avid navigator, and are extremely gratified with the progress our company has made over the last years, not only in the production of new catamarans, but also in repairs and services extended to the Cape Horn Sailors. Serving as an international well-known cruising base here in the south of Chile, it gives us the priceless opportunity to see what kind of equipment and technology really works under severe conditions.
