Jet Tern Marine (the manfacturer of Selene Yachts) is based in Taiwan, with manufacturing facilities in Dong Guan, Canton, China. The ship yard is about 2 hours by bus from Hong King International Airport and about an hour by bus from Guang-Zhou International Airport.

Our shipyard is located in a prosperous industrial city called "Hou-Jie" (which means "rich street in Chinese). The city is home to many companies that produce a wide variety of products from traditional Chinese manufacturing, such as shoes, to high-tech computer components. The city is also famous for its furniture industry, with as many as 300 furniture companies in the area. As a result, many of the materials that we use to create the luxurious interiors in Selene Yachts are readily available. High quality woods and veneers, fabrics, granite, and glass are all easy to find locally. In addition, skilled labor is plentiful in the region, and the local climate is ideal for fiberglass lamination.

Many fine hotels and restaurants are scattered throughout the city. Visitors to our ship yard often stay at the beautiful Jia Hua Grand Hotel.
