Paul Tilley, director of TIDEL is probably the UK's No 1 designer of RIB collars with an outstanding international reputation in the commercial marine, defence and lesure markets. He has been designing and producing inflatables for nearly 25 years. In that time projects have included rafts and ribs for the camel trophy expeditions, 14ft spherical racing marks, collars for the MOD and a 120mph Rib, as well as normal production boats.
In the specialist marine market, there is probable no substitute for experience. ((Over many years)) TIDEL have accumulated a large number of drawings and templates for RIB tubes, which can be used for re-tubing to maintain the safety of boats whose tubes are nearing the end of their lifespan, thus extending their usable lives.
