A.J.M. Transport Training

At A.J.M. Transport Training, all our instructors are Driving Standards Agency approved, which means they have taken and passed a test of their driving ability and also a test of their instructional ability with a D.S.A. supervising examiner. The two tests require a very high standard to pass, and have to be taken every 4 years to make sure the standards do not slip. The D.S.A. instructor is awarded the certificate which is displayed in the tuition vehicle windscreen.
A.J.M. transport training was founded by A.J.Mellon who left the Royal Corps of Transport in 1987 after driving tank transporters with the British army in Germany. He worked within the haulage industry gaining vast experience including passing the Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage at Riversdale Technical College, Liverpool.

In 1992 he set up a Driver Training School and is now a fully qualified D.S.A. approved instructor for cars and large goods vehicles.
