One of the many problems facing local transport companies is the acute shortage of LGV drivers. Large numbers of drivers are retiring from the haulage industry with very few in comparison undertaking LGV training. One way around the shortfall is for companies to upgrade their existing driver's skills to include LGV. This allows companies to ensure job satisfaction of their drivers, and continuity in the workplace.

Focus Transport Training was set up with the problems of the transportation industry in mind. We offer training to LGV Categories C and C+E. We are an OCR approved training centre for CPC (National and International) examinations and we also offer on site training in ADR, DGSA and First Aid at Work.

All of our instructors come from professional transport backgrounds with many years training experience, ensuring that all candidates receive the best quality training. The instructors are qualified to DSA standard
