Equestrian Transport Training was started from a love of horses and their welfare.
Julie Langton has 30 years experience with horses and managed a riding school and livery yard for 7 of those years. Julie has several horses and ponies of her own and is an active committee member of the Liverpool Equestrian Club. She is a member of the BHS, has Certificates of Professional Competence in Road Haulage and Transportation of Animals and holds a full LGV Licence.

Why EquiTransport?

"After visiting so many show grounds every year and seeing many short cuts being taken, near misses and accidents, I feel it is my duty to speak for the animal we love. Many people are not even aware of the issues surrounding transportation of live animals and have no concept of travelling with their horses safely. Those who wish to gain more knowledge often find it difficult to obtain training with the focus on horses. While reading a fact sheet provides the knowledge, it does not give the confidence to go out and do the task yourself. EquiTransport aims to give the driver hands on support and training to enable them to become safer equestrian road users."
