Raytheon Systems Ltd, the UK-based subsidiary of Raytheon Company, designs, develops and manufactures a wide range of advanced electronic products and systems for both defence and commercial markets. It is also a prime bidder for major MoD programmes and a prime contractor for ASTOR (Airborne Stand Off Radar) and SIFF (Successor Identification Friend or Foe). The company is providing the Navigation System and major components for the Integrated Bridge for the T45. Raytheon has considerable naval systems integration and communications capability and supplies the Royal Navy with a wide range of products and systems, including Tomahawk (TLAM), Phalanx CIWS, AMRAAM and IFF. Raytheon's proposed SEA RAM new generation Inner Layer Defence System recently underwent sea trials on HMS York.
