Originally built by Sir Robin Knox Johnston, Mercury Yacht Harbour is situated in a sheltered wooded site where the shallow waters of Badnam Creek join the River Hamble. Just a 20 minute walk from Hamble village, the marina offers berthing for 360 boats and enjoys deep water at all states of tide. Among its excellent facilities are a chandlery as well as a bar and restaurant with waterfront views. There's always activity on the River Hamble, with fleets of racers out every weekend during the summer. Throughout autumn, many hardy sailors participate in the Hamble Winter Series. Mercury Yacht Harbour also provides an ideal base from which to visit some of our other marinas in the Southampton area. Nearby Ocean Village Marina boasts two cinemas along with shops, restaurants and bars; a wide range of marine services are available at Shamrock Quay and Hamble Point Marina.
