We are specialising in equipment for Controllable Pitch Propulsion, which is of advantage in fishing trawlers, tugs, workboats, ferries and other vessels with varying work conditions. C.P.-propulsion is of advantage in regard of, very briefly: flexibility, efficiency, economy and manoeuvrability.
Our programme includes: C.P.-gearbox, C.P.-propeller and remote control system. The gearboxes are our own design and manufacture, while the propellers come from specialized sub suppliers. Mekanord's C.P.-propulsion equipment match standard marine diesels in order to make the complete propulsion package. Indicatively we can say that our equipment fit diesel engines in the range from app. 200HP to 6000HP. We are supplying in connection with all common makes of marine diesels engines. |
