Fraser River Port begins at the mouth of the Fraser River, south of Vancouver, British Columbia, and extends along the main arm of the river eastward to the Fraser Valley at Kanaka Creek and north along the Pitt River to Pitt Lake. The jurisdiction encompasses 270 kilometres of shoreline that border nine different municipalities in the Lower Mainland.

Fraser River Port is fully integrated with global transportation networks, offering a complete range of services at terminals equipped for efficient container and breakbulk handling. It is the largest auto port in Canada, and offers integrated services for the coastal forest industry and shortsea shipping.

Annually, 38.8 million tonnes of cargo are shipped through Fraser River Port. This volume has made Fraser River Port the second largest in Canada, generating $2.8 billion in local economic output and 16,100 direct jobs. Locally, over 350 businesses depend on the Port and port-related activities.
