In compliance with the port and harbor master plan authorized by PortAdministrator (Kobe City Government), K.P.T.C. role is to build,lease and maintain those of container terminals, liner terminalsand ferry terminals in Kobe Port where vessel operating companies andharbor transportation companies can rent their dedicated terminals,and K.P.T.C. role which shall be proceeded systematically and efficientlywill contribute to strengthen the port function, to increase a foreigntrade volume and to develop the local economy. The Kobe Port Administrator (Kobe City Government) is managing the portand harbor facilities where the common users are used forthe facilities except K.P.T.C. terminals in the service.
