Fenchurch Street
Fenchurch Street was built in 1854 for London and Blackwall Railway and was the first station to be built in the City. The present building is the second, replacing the smaller original terminus which stood in the Minories. It was built to accommodate the trains of the London Tilbury and Southend Railway, as well as those of the London and Blackwall Railway. In 2002 responsibility for managing the station transferred from c2c to Network Rail.Fenchurch Street
