The Manchester Airports Group
Manchester Airport is part of The Manchester Airports Group Plc (MAG), which is the second largest airport operator in the UK and comprises the airports of Manchester, Nottingham East Midlands, Bournemouth and Humberside.

The Group's role is to deliver overarching business and financial strategies for the business as a whole and to provide a policy framework within which targets for the individual businesses can be set and delivered.
MAG is wholly owned by the ten local authorities of Greater Manchester:

This company brings together all the major services that are essential to Manchester Airport's operation. It is charged with running ground and baggage handling, passenger transfer services, aviation security, the fire service, engineering and car parks business.
