This family owned service has been providing Emergency Medical Services to residents of Connecticut and Rhode Island since 1972. American Ambulance Service, Inc. began with two used ambulances that were dispatched out of an old service station. Approximately 13 years later we moved into our current contemporary base of operation located at One American Way in Norwich, CT. In 1998 American Ambulance became the exclusive EMS provider for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Foxwoods Resort Casino, the largest casino in the world. We are proud of our growth and that we now have a fleet of over 50 vehicles and have a staff of 200.
