AmCare Ambulance Service was founded in 1989 to serve the communities of St. Albans City, St. Albans Town, Fairfield and Georgia in northern Vermont.
We are the sole 9-1-1 ambulance service provider for our coverage area, and we provide back-up coverage to neighboring communities. With over 4,000 responses annually, we are also the largest Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider in the area. With our wide service area and high demand, we respond to more calls than all other EMS agencies in the county combined. This, combined with our many years of experience, allow us to provide unequalled service to our customers.
