Richlands Rescue Squad, Inc proudly protects 12500 people living in an area of 110 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Richlands Rescue Squad's all volunteer staff provides 24 hour EMS coverage to western Tazewell County and Richlands, VA. Our members work at least two 6 hours shifts weekly. Our members range in age from 74 yrs down to 18 yrs old. We have several members who have attained Lifetime Membership, by serving over 10 yrs.
