Chamblissburg Volunteer Rescue Squad 4 proudly protects 2000 people living in an area of 30 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 and espically to the FDNY, EMS division of FDNY, NYPD, and their families. Chamblissburg Volunteer Rescue Squad is one of 12 rescue squads in Bedford Co. and was formed in 1974. It currently operates with two medic units, one crash truck and one first response unit
