Fort Lewis Vol. Rescue Squad proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 18 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.
A volunteer/paid station, with both the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad and the Fort Lewis Fire Department included in one building. the Station is maintained by Roanoke County Fire Rescue Department with an apparatus and rescue unit fleet consisting of both County Owned and Squad/Dept owned vehicles.
