Railpart UK Limited the leading supplier of replacement components in the UK Traction and Rolling Stock aftermarket, managing and supplying a comprehensive range of products from major repairable components, such as bogies, wheelsets and engines to consumable components such as brake pads, hoses, filters and lubricating oils.
History
Railpart was formed in 1987 as the National Supply Centre (NSC) of the British Railways Board. In 1995 the company was incorporated as Railpart (UK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of BRB in preparation for the privatisation process. Railpart was sold in March 1997 to Unipart Rail Holdings and are now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Unipart Group of Companies (UGC).
Railpart (UK) Ltd is a registered company (No. 3038418) whose Registered Office is at Unipart House, Garsington Road, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 2PG.
Since the company was acquired in 1997, substantial investment has been made in improving the logistics capability, upgrading the IT systems, including the successful implementation of SAP and most importantly investing in training and developing our people with the proven tools and techniques used throughout the Unipart Group.
