Jefa Marine is located near Copenhagen in Denmark and has been manufacturing rudder and steering products since 1980. Jefa Steering combines all facilities and staff with the sister company Jefa Marine. In the year 2000 the decision was made to not only make special steering components for specific yards, but to also develop a range of mechanical steering systems for the general market place. The Jefa Steering directors all have more than 10 years experience in specifying and producing mechanical steering systems. The production directors Jan Faurschou (left) and Stig Jensen (right) founded the company Jefa Marine 25 years ago. Over the years Jan and Stig have build up a extremely modern factory with the most modern CNC machines. More than 15.000 rudder stocks and more than 30.000 rudder bearings have left the Jefa factory since 1980. Sales director Armin Geisler (middle), a university trained mechanical engineer, with more than 12 years experience in specifying and selling steering systems, is responsible for worldwide commercial matters.
