was born in 1997.
After some years in Lake garda, YES is now based in Alghero, in the windy island of Sardinia in the middle of the Mediterranean, Italy. Peter Munzlinger, sail designer, after working in the past with North Sails, where he designed the Prisma, and with Da Kine, where he did the first high performance freeride sail without cambers already in 1994, finally had the opportunity to make sails for his own brand.

YES means positivity and YES sails are positive. No gimmicks, no funny appendixes, but functionality and a great look. Sails that must work on the water, that are easy to use and that have the best performance.

Since the beginning YES sails dominated in competition at every level, with a high number of victories, in local races, national races, european races and even a few top ten placements in World Cup, culminating last year with the World Champion title at the 2003 Formula Windsurfing Youth Worlds and the third place in the manufacturer's ranking of the Euro Cup series.

Now our design focus is on developing more accessible and durable high performance sails.
