Throughout Cheshire, including it's rural areas, the County Council promote many different community and voluntary transport schemes, these include services for people with disabilities. All vehicles are equipped with lifts for wheelchair users.



Dial a Ride


Addresses the transport needs of persons who have mobility problems and who are elderly or infirm. They provide personalised pre-booked accessible door to door transport.

To use Dial a Ride services you will need to complete an application form to become a member of Cheshire Dial a Ride.


The County Council supports five Dial a Ride schemes in Cheshire: Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston, Vale Royal, Crewe & Nantwich, Congleton and Macclesfield.
