Dial-a-Ride provides door-to-door transport for anyone who finds it difficult or impossible to use ordinary public transport. You don't have to be registered disabled or confined to a wheelchair to use Dial-a-Ride - for example, you might have difficulty climbing steps on buses, or be unable to walk to the bus stop. Dial-a-Ride vehicles can also carry passengers in wheelchairs. Fares are about the same as you would pay on ordinary buses. You will need to book your journey well in advance to be sure of a seat. You will be collected from your door at the arranged time, and the driver will help you into the vehicle.
