Dial a Ride is a door to door taxi service for all age groups with mobility problems which makes using public transport difficult. They use several vehicles all with easy wheelchair access and can take these people to the destination of your choice such as:
Shopping Trips
Visiting Friends or Relatives
Attending the Dentist or Hairdresser
Leisure Trips to the Cinema, Theatre or Bingo
Going to Work or Attending Educational Classes
Dial-a-Ride is provided by Torfaen Community Transport which is a voluntary organisation providing transport and other services to the disabled and frail aged.
Who is this service for?:
Dial-a-Ride is for people who are socially excluded from conventional transport.
The service is operated on a 'first come, first served' basis, and is available Mon - Sat from 9am to 4pm. Sunday's, evenings and Bank holidays may be provided for by special request.
