Transport facilities are provided to elderly and those with disabilities in the borough. The WRVS, in partnership with the Council and the local PCT, provide a car service for a small fee of 37p per mile per journey. Residents can sign up for the service or book a journey on 01992 628172.
A Dial a Ride mini bus transport service is also in place for residents to book a space on regular journeys to shopping centres, medical facilities and other locations.
People aged 60 and over, and people with disabilities, can have a free bus pass which will give them free travel at any time of day throughout Hertfordshire. Click here for more information on bus passes.
