Who needs to be trained:
All Hazmat employees must be Hazmat trained within 90 days of
starting employment and must receive recurrent training at
least every three years. Job changes and regulatory
amendments may require interim retraining (49 CFR, Part 172, Subpart
H), IMDG Code Amendment 34-08.
Hazmat courses and training seminars
are taught in a relaxed professional atmosphere designed
to maximize learning. A comprehensive examination is
conducted for each course, and a formal Certificate of
Hazmat Training is awarded upon successful completion. Classes
are designed to satisfy all relevant regulatory training
requirements, including the U.S. Department of
Transportation’s Hazmat Employee safety and security
training.
