Warranty/Return Policy:

Return Authorization numbers are required on all returned items purchased within 30 days. Any items over 30 days are to be returned directly to the manufacturer for repair if defective. New returns over 30 days are non returnable.

All returned units Must be Complete and in Factory Packaging. Returns after your credit card is charged is subject to a 20 percent*** return fee even if the package isn't opened once I charge your card simply becuase the transaction processing fees aren't refundable to me as well to process your credit card and it costs me a fee to give you a charge credit as well (aprox. 2.5 percent each time***), not to mention my fullfillemnt warehouse will also charge me 15 percent open box fee becuase the manufactuer will also charge this to me as well. This is affective for any returns December 25, 2005, even if the item was ordered earlier. This equals the 20 percent.

So, be sure any item you order is exactly what you want before ordering. This policy doesn't apply to exchanges of a defective unit simply becuase there is no refund given back and it's a one for one swap. Any shipping charges you pay once the item ships from my warehouse also isn't refundable. This is in addition to the 15 percent open box fee if the item isn't defective and has been opened and isn't in "New" selling condition**. All units requiring Service after the first 30 days, either Warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to a Garmin repair center. You can find a list by calling Garmin at: 1-800-800-1020.

**PLEASE NOTE that all opened units are subject to a 15 percent open box restock fee if opened at return if the item isn't defective. This is a industry rule. Because I am also charged this fee by my supplier.

***20 percent if opened (5 percent if not opened)is if it's a PERSONAL VISA and Mastercard purchase. If it's a business Visa and Business Mastercard, meaning it comes addressed in a business name on your statement, it is 8.85 PERCENT transaction fee for returns, if not opened and 23.85 percent if opened and if American Express it is 6.5 percent if not opened and 21.5 percent if opened, including and freight charges if originally charged, due to the fact that these cards charge me higher discount fees when charged. Discover is the same as personal Visa and mastercard.
